The food was absolutely incredible! We had the most delicious meals during our Christmas stay. The chefs really knew how to impress with their culinary skills. Another great aspect was the breathtaking view of the mountains from our room. It was truly a winter wonderland. the hotel was situated in a peaceful and quiet village, which added to the overall relaxation of the experience.

The hotel lacked certain amenities that would have made our stay more enjoyable. There was no bar available, so we couldn't even enjoy a drink after a long drive.

I chose Auberge Lou Jas because of its proximity to Castellane Prealps, a landmark I wanted to visit. However, the hotel pleasantly surprised me with its free WiFi, restaurant, and terrace. The free WiFi was reliable and fast, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The restaurant offered delicious meals, and the terrace provided a beautiful outdoor space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Our tiny bathroom smelt rather of drains - perhaps caused by the heavy rain all evening. However, the quirky fitted bedroom, yummy food, the very good window flyscreen, and the lovely roses in the garden more than compensated for this small deficiency.
